Federer drove relatively smoothly after defeating German Mischa Zverev in the third round of matches at Center Court, All England Club, London on Saturday (8/7/2017). He won 7-6 (3), 6-4, 6-4 in 1 hour and 49 minutes.

The victory passed Federer into the second week of Wimbledon for the 15th time. The 35-year-old Swiss will try to become the oldest player to win Wimbledon in the professional era.

Dimitrov, the 13th seed from Bulgaria, will be against Federer in the last 16 on Monday (10/7) tomorrow. Dimitrov escaped after setting aside Dudi Sela (Israel). The record of Federer and Dimitrov's meetings so far is 5-0 for Federer's lead.

"Grigor is getting tougher every time I face him, he's in perfect age now, understanding his game, and strong physically," Federer said of his meeting with Dimitrov.

"I am ready to undergo a difficult game, but also other interesting matches because he is a player with a good punch," he said as quoted by Reuters.
