Arsenal defeat Bayern Munich on penalties

Sports 5758 - Arsenal reap a positive result in the 2017 International Champions Cup tournament. The Gunners win over Bayern Munich 3-2 on penalties.

In a match at the Shanghai Stadium in Shanghai on Wednesday (19/07/2017), a duel between Arsenal and Bayern ended in a 1-1 draw in normal time. However, Arenal managed to win on penalties.

Arsenal lowered full strength in the game. Including new recruits, Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac. The Gunners did not include some pillar players, including Alexis Sanchez, Shkodran Mustafi, and Hector Bellerin.

Not just slack, Arsenal appearance even more okay after conceded. But, the Arsenal attackers still difficult to penetrate the Bayern defense.

There's no change in the score down to minun. Arsenal are still uniquely 0-1.

Entering the second half, Arsenal and Bayern both do the rotation of players. Includes Alex Iwobi.

Arsenal managed to equalize in injury time through Iwobi header.

The match was followed by a penalty shootout. Three goals made Arsenal Aaron Ramsey, Nacho Monreal, and Iwobi.

In the Bayern camp, two penalty goals booked by Mats Hummels and Kingsley Coman.
